WWW Wednesday is a weekly Meme that was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and is currently hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
To participate all you have to do is answer the three W’s, which are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish?
What do you plan to read next?
Let’s get into my three W’s for this week!
What I’m Currently Reading:

I have a few books on the go at the moment.
The Institute by Stephen King. This one has been on my TBR for years. I’m finally getting around to reading it. It’s my current physical book read that I only read when I am at home. I’m starting to get to the meat of the story and so far it’s interesting. It’ll be interesting to see how all the different characters we’ve seen POVs from connect.

A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer. This is the second book of the Cursebreakers Series and is my audiobook read that I play at night to fall asleep to. I read ebook versions of this series back in 2022.
Current Status: 2%
The Ten Year Lie by Debra Webb. This is one of the books I receieved and Arc Copy of. I’m going to be trying to catch up on a lot of these that I requested back in February. This one I will be reading on my commutes to work.

What I Recently Finished:

I recently finished reading Classic Tales of Horror by Edgar Allen Poe. This is a collection of his most popular short stories like The Tell-Tale Heart, which I’d read in Junior High/High School. I originally started this one in October of 2025 with the intent to read one short story on my days off in addition to whatever other book I had on the go. It definitly did not go as planned as a lot of mornings I wasn’t in the headspace to read. It is interesting to read something from so long ago and how language has changed over time. No one speaks, or writes for that matter, the way books and stories like the ones in this book does anymore. This one was a just for fun read, I won’t be making a review post for it. I will however recommend reading it or a version of this book that might be accesible to you if you are interested in Gothic Horror as a genre.
I also finished A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer and The Return of Ellie Black by Emiko Jean the reviews for these books will be coming soon. A curse so Dark and Lonely was a re-read for me. I really enjoyed both of these books, and will have more details about what I thought about them when I post my reviews.
What I Plan To Read Next:

Up next in my TBR includes:
The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. This one was a gift from a friend for my birthday last year, I have recently ordered the sequel book and pre-ordered the third book. So I want to read this one before/soon after they arrive.
We Would Never Tell by Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau is up next for my commute to work reads and is one of the books I received an ARC ebook for.
A Vow so Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer is up next for my Audiobook reads. I’m not sure if I will get to it during the month of May. It all depends on how quickly I get through the second book.
What have you been reading recently? What was the last book you finished? What are/were your thoughts on them?
