Let’s get into my three W’s for this week!
What I’m Currently Reading:
I really stalled out this week so there hasn’t been as much progress with my current reads. I’ve been waking up feeling too tired to read when I’m at home. I did read a bit of my current commute read Yesteryear. The only book I’ve been consistent with is Glint my current audiobook read. I also didn’t read any manga this week.
Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke. I’m not very far in so far, the story that I have read is okay, the premise is definitly interesting to keep me reading. This book has been majorly hyped, and so far I’m not really sure why. The main character honestly seems entirely insufferable. Maybe that’s the point, but I don’t know. It’s not holding my attention as much as it should. This may end up being my second DNF for the year, if it doesn’t start getting better for me.
Current Status: 26%
The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst. My progress has stalled on this one. Once again, waking up feeling too tired to read, even though previously on most days I would make myself read anyway. This week I will read more of this one.
Current Status: 8%
Glint by Raven Kennedy. The only book i’ve been consistent with this week. With most of my audiobook reads, they are often re-reads and used to help me fall asleep. Sometimes my brain just won’t shut up so I need something to focus on to distract it.
Current Status: 36%
and my manga read I’m still working through Volume 15 of One Piece by Eiichiro Oda
What I Recently Finished:
I finished two books so far this week. Who Knew the Ridpath Girl by Stacy Johns, you can find my review for this book here. I also finished Gild the first book in the Plated Prisoner series. I’m still working on my review for this one, watch for it later this week.
What I Plan To Read Next:
My TBR for this week remains unchanged since I didn’t finish any of the books I’m currently reading.
Sea of Charms by Sarah Beth Durst I have this one on pre-order but I was also approved for an E-Arc copy.
The Faraway Inn by Sarah Beth Durst is up next still for physical reads.
Volumes 16-19+ of One Piece are up next for my manga reads.
Gleam the third book of the Plated prisoner series by Raven Kennedy, continuing my re-read of the series is up next still as well.
