A post has finally broken double digits for views, which is exciting! Hopefully future posts will garner the same number or more. I’m hoping for multiple posts in the double digits at least for the coming months.

In May I finished reading a total of 12 books, with reading a total of 2760 pages, and listening for 23.38 hours. Average book length was 309 pages. My primary genre read this month was Fantasy.

I’m working through several books at the moment with mix of media types.

A Vow so Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer (Audiobook)
The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst (Paperback)
Who Knew the Ridpath Girl by Stacy Johns (ebook – NetGalley)
One Piece Volume 10 by Eiichiro Oda

There are a lot of books on my TBR pile, both phsyical and digital. The following are what I plan to read in June. I had hope to get to some of the manga in this list in May. Hopefully this month I’ll get through them and perhaps a few more.

Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke (Ebook – Netgalley)
Yashahime Volume 8-9 by Takashi Shiina and Rumiko Takahashi (Paperback)
One Piece Volumes 11-13+ by Eiichiro Oda (ebook)
The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst(Hardcover)
Gild by Raven Kennedy (Audiobook)
Sea of Charms by Sarah Beth Durst (Ebook-Netgalley)
The Faraway Inn by Sarah Beth Durst (Paperback)

So far this year I have read 38 books out of 200 which puts me at about 44 books behind to meet that goal. I may have been a bit too ambitious in my goal for the year. I really expected to read more this year. We’re now halfway through the year. Hopefully I can catch up in the second half.

Anime
1) One Piece (Episodes 456-809)
Continuing from the last two months, I’ve been working on my rewatch of the anime for One Piece I had reached the end of the Cake Island Arc in my last watch, so I’m almost back to that point, at which point I’ll be watching episodes for the first time. This block of episodes covers the Marineford Arc, Post War Arc, Fishman Island Saga, Dressrosa Saga, and about half of the Whole Cake Island Saga.

Music
Joining the music that has been on repeat for most of the year this month was Melanie C’s new Album Sweat as well as Meghan Trainor’s album Toy with Me.

Okay now back to why we’re all here, reading!
